Folklore Ensemble "Graovo" from Bulgaria winning the "Dukatfest 2010"

At the central competitive evening, which was held in 19.06.2010. the hall Borik in Banja Luka , by a jury , Ensemble Graovo from Bulgaria was declared the best in the category of ensemble and teamwork won the Grand Prize, as well as a monetary amount of one thousand euros.

Folk group from Turkey has been named the best ensemble of authenticity, while Ensemble "Proleter" from Sarajevo was most successful in the category with the best ensemble style.

Director of "Dukat Fest" Natalija Trivić congratulated the winners, adding that he hoped that next year the festival will bring together an even greater number of ensembles from all continents.
- The goal of "Dukat Fest" is to Banja Luka , but the audience throughout the Republic of Srpska , performance traditions and culture of peoples of other countries. I think this year we managed to diversity of the expectations of our audience - said Trivic.
In the show of the central competitive evening featured the ethno-group " Prelo " from Belgrade, " Vida" from Modrica and ethno-band "Gora " from Banja Luka, and all this was preceded by a visit to the participants of the festival Banjaluka famous resort Krupa na Vrbas .
During the festival, groups from Bosnia and Herzegovina , Serbia , Croatia , Slovenia , Bulgaria , Israel , Turkey and Hungary visited Mrkonjic Grad, Modriča, Prnjavor, Gradiska, Derventa and Laktaši, where evening concerts are held.
"Dukat fest" was opened on 15th June and the event is closed concert of folklore groups from Ghana and Israel at the National Theater of the RS.
