City
Cultural Artistic Association "ALAT-Swisslion"
from Trebinje, was founded in 1956. Today it gathers
something around 400 young people divided in three
sections: folklore dance group, orchestra and two
native vocal groups "Na kamenu kamen" and
"Nagorkinje". GKUD"Alat-Swisslion",
on their repertoire, has more than 20 difficult choreographies,
which cherish tradition ,customs and authenticity
of people from Herzegovina, as well as all nationalities
from the Ex Yu countries. Some of the original customs
in their rich fundus are more than 100 years old.
Their members participated in numerous competitive
Festivals in country and abroad and won at World Folklore
Dance Festival Paris 1985, Best Association in Republic
Of Srpska Festival "Zlatni Opanak" Valjevo
2004, winners of "Srebrenog opanka" for
the Best Choreography at given topic "Aleksinacko
Pomoravlje" 2007, winners of "Majsorsko
pismo" for scene adjustment to folk music and
dance, were given special reward "Bronzani venac"
and won first place for the most authentic costume
"Vrsacki venac" Vrsac 2008, etc.
Croatian
Cultural Artistic Association "Kramaria"
from Nova Gradiska has been working for 30 years representing
tradition, national creativity and heritage of Brodsko-posavska
County in Croatia but also folk dances from the ex
Yugoslavia countries. HKUD"Kramaria" has
60 members active in folk dance ensemble, native vocal
group and orchestra. They participated on many international
festival in Austria, Germany, Poland, Romania, Belgium,
Italy, Hungary, Serbia and Turkey, and always brought
with them one of the main rewards.
Ensemble
for folk songs and dances "Dunav" in the
town of Vidin was established in 1971 with the aim
of tracing, storage and making if popular of the Bulgarian
folklore and namely that of the Vidin region.The main
art principle in the Vidin Ensemble is the preservation
of the indigenous characteristics of the musical folklore
by songs and dances of the North - Western Bulgaria.
In its rich and various programme Ensemble "Dunav"
includes music, songs and dances from other folklore
regions in Bulgaria, which attributes to the whole
variety and attractiveness of its shows. The moving
dances, the songs in themselves, the instrumental
performances, combined with the beautiful suits make
the concerts unforgettable for the spectators.
The
traditional dance group of the Youth Club of Menemeni
was established in 1996 and today have got 60 members.
The groups program consists of dances from Thrace,
Kappadokia, Mikra Asia, Macedonia, Thessalia and Ipiro.
It has been taken part in various dance festivals
and TV programs as well. The most important and also
the most representative appearance of the group was
in Menemeni of Mikra Asia, the town that the most
members of their municipal come from. The trip took
place as far as friendship an brotherhood are concerted.
The
"Ziemia Myslenicka" Song and Dance Group
was founded on April 1985 in the Municipal Culture
Centre. The founder of this group was Henryk Duda
who was an outstanding propagator of Polish folklore
too. The Ensemble's repertoire covers the most valuable
artistic output of the Myslenice region..
The Ensemble's repertoire covers the most valuable

richness of costumes makes the Ensemble's performances
unforgettable artistic spectacles.
The Ensemble took part in many festivals in Poland
and abroad, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Hungry,
Serbia, India, Slovakia, China, etc. The Ensemble
was also awarded in the competition for talented youth
and children "Talenty 97" and in the National
Review of Polish National Dances for Kujawiak and
Polonez (Polish folk dances) between 1995 and 1999.
In 2009 the "Ziemia Myslenicka" won the
second prize in the Cross-Cultural Review of Groups
of the Song and Dance from Poland.
The
folk dance group "LIGO" was founded in spring
of 1945 and is one of the oldest dance groups in Latvia.
The ensemble is originaly from Riga City, the capital
of Latvia, centre of Latvian cultural life. That's
why different forms of national art particularly developed
: dancing, singing, handycraft and others. LIGO has
performed concerts in many countries, participated
in various festivals introducing Latvian culture to
the other nations. Now there are about 90 people,
of different age, dancing in the group. Since 1995
the leader and choreographer of folk dance group LIGO
is Janis Purvinš.
The
ensemble of folk dance "Karussell" founded
1984. Forty participants in the age of from 6 till
35 years are engaged in this choreographic group known
nowadays. The Ensemble is permanent participant of
the All-Russian and regional festivals, competitions
and folk holidays. The repertoire of the Ensemble
is very various. In the performances they acquaint
spectators with the best samples of the Russian National
Traditional Culture. "Karussell" has a well-deserved
success, leaving at spectators unforgettable impressions.
The group plays to the dances on Balalaika, Pipe,
Harmonica and Bayan. The ensemble has achieved such
successes in much due to persistent work, talent and
huge love to folk art of director Elena Smirnova,
which are the founder and the permanent leader of
this remarkable folklore collective. It repeatedly
became a holder of the diploma of popular festival
in the Russia Federation "The Gold Ring of Russia",
the ensemble twice became the winner of regional festival
"Autumn Kostroma" (1998,1999), Grand prix
at all Russian Festival of folk arts in Sochi (2001),
a special price of the Ministry of Culture of the
Russian Federation for the best folklore program,
etc.
The
folk ensemble "Company Blewu" has been established
in Togo-Africa in 2005. All maintaining the culture
of traditional African dance customs alive while celebrating
African and tribal, which is difficult to imagine
that skilled dancers. The traditional and contemporary
dance with the drama is intense exposure that the
dancers have performed "Blewu". The dance
group has traveled throughout Africa and has performed
on festivals and celebrations.
"Wushen
County Wulanmuqi" from Mongolia was established
in 1960. The ensemble has created thousands oftraditional
folk art programs, and received about 530 awards above
city level, including 2 Int'l awards and 150 national
awards. From 1999 until now, Wushen County Office
Wulanmuqi was appraised by Autonomous Province Culture
Office as the "First Level Performance group"
three times successively. The ensemble has 42 members
now, including 6 national second class performers,
20 national third class performers.
